Profile

I build backends and the infrastructure that runs them. A year on Gatewatcher's NDR solution (Python tooling, Suricata tests, Infrastructure as Code), a year on an e-procurement REST API at Etifak, and SimplyLovelySetups, a product I launched myself.

  • Built Python CLI tools for GCap, Gatewatcher's NDR (Network Detection and Response) product.
  • Wrote and maintained tests for the Suricata IDS/IPS with the Suricata-verify framework.
  • Automated GCap deployment as Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and Ansible (Proxmox, Nutanix), Bicep (Azure).
  • Implemented monitoring that connects Azure's native monitoring to the product's custom Linux OS: end-to-end observability.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines and fixed bugs in Linux environments.
